Reed Property and Construction are working with a well-established Groundworks and Civil Engineering Subcontractor who have a new opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team.
The client has a strong reputation for excellence and reliability, and work with tier one contractors and local councils, having long standing relationships with many repeat business clients. Projects are varied and interesting and can be a small 25k up to larger projects up to 5 million.
They are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to grow within a dynamic and forward-thinking company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Commercial Manager with cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Support project delivery by monitoring progress and managing subcontractor accounts.
Help ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
Reporting cost variations.
For this role, the client is seeking a candidate with some previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Ideally someone interested in working on Civil Engineering or Groundworks.
