Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Bath, who are actively looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis

What you will be doing:

The Account Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the accounting team.

  • Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, and preparing payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed.
  • Provide support to the accounting team as required.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
