IFS Technical Lead

Outside IR35 - Hybrid (3 days on-site) - 6 Months initally (extension likley)

We are seeking an experienced IFS Technical Lead to play a key role in the ongoing development and optimisation of our clients ERP platform. This role combines hands-on IFS development with leadership responsibilities, guiding both internal and external development teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the technical architecture and solutions design within the IFS environment and interfaced applications.

  • Lead development efforts across the IFS platform, ensuring best practices and scalable solutions.

  • Act as a liaison between executive stakeholders and technical teams to align business goals with system functionality.

  • Manage the delivery of technical workstreams, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

  • Develop and support customisations, reports, integrations, and modifications (CRIMs) within IFS.

  • Train and mentor internal support teams to build in-house capability on the IFS platform.

  • Oversee team coordination, delegate tasks, and manage development workflows.

Experience & Skills Required:
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience working with IFS applications.

  • Proven track record in technical ERP delivery, ideally within complex or enterprise environments.

  • Strong hands-on skills in IFS development, deployment, and support.

  • Deep understanding of IFS modules, integrations, and system architecture.

  • Experience managing and mentoring technical teams, with strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working in hybrid environments, including collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
