We're seeking a skilled professional with administration and finance experience to join our client's friendly and professional team in Bathgate. As the role is based within the dynamic property industry, the position is ideal for someone who thrives on challenges, enjoys variety as no two days will be the same, and excels in managing accounts and processing invoices with exceptional attention to detail. Due to the fast-paced nature of the industry, the successful candidate must be confident, comfortable talking to clients and customers and willing to undertake additional responsibilities.

What Will You Do?

  • Support the team with various administrative tasks, contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Conduct credit and referencing checks for prospective tenants, ensuring thorough and accurate assessments.
  • Maintain impeccable records through diligent filing, general admin, and month-end processes.
  • Process payments to clients and third-party contractors, maintaining smooth financial operations.
  • Tackle rent arrears with confidence, communicating effectively with landlords and tenants to resolve issues.
  • Master the art of payment allocation and invoice management, ensuring every transaction is accurate and timely.
  • Handle deposit allocations and returns with precision, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Proven experience as a finance administrator with a track record of accuracy and reliability.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • A confident individual who is comfortable picking up the phone when required and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative, solving problems proactively.
  • Experience with Sage and/or Xero is a plus, though not essential.
