TasksAs a Residential Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing constant supervision and care for children in a residential setting.
- Offering emotional support and building trusting relationships with the children.
- Offering guidance and education to families on parenting and child development.
- Connecting families with community resources and support services.
- Conducting home visits to assess living situations and provide in-home support.
- Working towards family reunification when possible.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- At least 6 months of prior experience working with children in a residential setting within the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Registration under the PVG scheme.
- A full driving license (preferred).
- An SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification (desirable).
