Generator Engineer required for a market leading rental company of industrial equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with an impressive, global reputation opening a new branch in Scotland.
Candidates will need experience working on generators / power systems. You will hold both electrical and mechanical experience, including working with diesel / pump systems. Formal qualifications are not essential.
The successful candidate will be based from the company’s branch in Bathgate where you will carry out inspections and repairs on equipment for rental. You will also carry out installs and de-installs of generators and power support equipment, as well as servicing and fault finding.
This role will cover client sites in Scotland and occasional stay-away may be required, approximately twice a month. You will also be a part of a rotational call-out rota for one week in four, however most issues can be resolved remotely.
The Generator Engineer Role:
· Based from Bathgate – covering client sites in Scotland
· Inspections and repairs of equipment at branch
· Mechanical servicing and fault finding on site
· Installs and de-installs
· Assist ongoing projects
