This role is essential to provide a comprehensive service to the manufacturing operation by ensuring that production lines are adequately supplied with mixes and materials for the day to day running.Key accountabilities• Operate hand trucks / power-trucks / counterbalance trucks safely, completing necessary safety checks• Respond to any reasonable requests from department Line captains/section managers• Ensure that any necessary communication takes place to ensure smooth running of operation – shift handovers / Mixers/Raw materials / Logistic-leaders• Complete all relevant checks – sieve integrity, pre start, mixer weigher sheets, foreign matter, glass and hard plastic• Ensure Promtek is operated and used correctly.• Maintain correct stock rotation when using raw materials• Monitor changeovers, ensuring that mixes are ready when the line changes over.• Baking lines to be supplied with mixes on request on request. Mix and weigh all raw materials prior to mixingSkills & experience• Good understanding of written & spoken English plus numeracy skills• Willingness to learn and be flexible in the tasks required of you• Work as part of a team - to join in and help those around you• Be able to follow instructions from other team members and supervision• Prior mixing room and/or hand truck / power truck / counterbalance truck experience would be advantageous• Good planning and organising skills
