Company Overview
We are supporting an industry-leading acoustic enclosure manufacturer in Batley in their search for a Senior Buyer to join their expanding procurement team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused procurement professional to make a real impact. You will be responsible for developing and implementing new procurement processes, managing supplier KPIs, and supporting wider business growth initiatives. Experience working within manufacturing or engineering environments is essential, and knowledge of Dynamics 365 is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:

Raise purchase orders, manage suppliers, and ensure goods are delivered on time and within budget.

Build, manage, and evaluate supplier relationships through structured KPIs and regular performance reviews.

Implement and document new procurement processes and improve existing systems.

Support internal teams including engineering, projects, and operations with high-quality procurement services.

Lead strategic sourcing activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and cost-saving initiatives.

Analyse purchasing data to drive improvements and inform procurement strategy.
About You:

Proven procurement experience within manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication environments.

Strong background in supplier performance management and continuous improvement.

Commercially aware, with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Familiar with Microsoft Office; Dynamics 365 experience is a strong advantage.

Methodical, process-driven, and proactive with a focus on delivering results.
