Empowering Learning is working closely with an SEND School in Batley near Leeds who are looking for a Construction Tutor
The job
- Teaching Joinery, Carpentry, DIY, Bricklaying
- Teaching vocational skills:
Helping students learn practical skills for roles like groundworking or multi-skilling through hands-on experience and vocational courses.
- Curriculum development:
Planning and preparing lessons, creating teaching materials, and developing new courses.
- Assessment and administration:
Setting and marking assessments, monitoring student progress, and performing administrative tasks like record-keeping.
- Student support:
Acting as a personal tutor to support students with problems and career guidance.
- Ensuring compliance:
Teaching and assessing knowledge of construction site legislation, such as HSE and CDM regulations.
