A growing business in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join its busy Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their project management career who is looking to gain hands-on experience managing live projects from start to finish in a fast-paced commercial environment.
The successful Junior Project Manager will be supporting the delivery of multiple projects while learning best practices in customer communication, supply chain coordination, and operational planning. Ideal for a highly organised and proactive individual with strong communication skills and a desire to grow within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Junior Project Manager:
- Assist in managing a portfolio of 2025 live projects, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
- Help maintain up-to-date records within the project management system.
- Support the coordination of bespoke shipments through third-party logistics providers.
- Monitor project timelines and communicate updates to customers under the guidance of senior team members.
- Help update supplier forecasts and participate in discussions around changing priorities.
- Respond to customer and internal queries via phone and email in a professional manner.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding materials and delivery schedules for assigned projects.
