HGV Class 1 Plant Driver - Permanent

Location: Beccles

Salary: 16.50 - 17.50 PH

About the Role
Our Clients are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Plant Driver to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves the daily delivery and collection of plant equipment across the local area and occasional inter-depot transfers.

You would be working for one of the leading local Plant companies in the area, with a great reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect plant machinery to/from customers and depots.

• Conduct pre- and post-delivery vehicle checks; report any damages or issues.

• Carry out daily checks on yard shunter.

• Keep the yard organized and support in positioning equipment for hire.

• Transport vehicles between depots and collect newly built vehicles.

Candidate Requirements

• Full HGV Class 1 Licence

• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card

• Sound knowledge of the local area (Norfolk & Suffolk)

• A flexible and proactive approach to working hours and duties

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Some flexibility required based on operational needs
