Pierluigis, an Italian fine dining restaurant, offering versatile dining, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team.

This role requires working flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. You will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

We are looking for a team player to join Pierluigis family and be part of our exciting new projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning food items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Follow recipes while also being open to creative input for daily specials.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in meal preparation or food preparation within a restaurant setting is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of culinary techniques and food safety practices is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in the kitchen.
  • A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field is highly valued.
