Caretaker

Premier Work Support are seeking a Caretaker to work across schools in North Yorkshire on a full time, temporary basis with an immediate start. For the right candidate, there is potential for this role to become permanent.

You will work independently to deliver services and complete daily responsibilities.

Duties will include tasks such as fire alarm testing, carrying out PPMs, and managing the opening and closing of the school. There may also be some facilities-related responsibilities, including touch-point cleaning and sanitising across various areas such as the canteen, restrooms, sports hall, classrooms, and reception. This includes items like entrance doors, cupboard and door handles, light and socket switches, bin lids, taps, toilet doors and flushes, soap and hand towel dispensers, desks, keyboards, and printer switches. Full training will be provided for this role.

An enhanced DBS will be required.

This is a split shift role, covering both morning and afternoon hours, Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 10.00am and 2.00pm to 6.00pm.

Due to the locations you will need access to your own vehicle.

For health and safety and insurance purposes, you must have a good understanding of the English language, both verbally and written as you will be working alone without supervision whilst at work.
