You'll assemble, wire and test sophisticated electrical and electronic systems, and help coordinate your team to ensure projects are completed within the agreed metrics. You'll act as the go-to person in the Supervisor's absence, ensuring consistent departmental performance and high quality standards within this regulated industry.
This role suits a hands-on technician with proven electrical assembly or wiring experience, who enjoys mentoring others and is wanting to take the next step toward a leadership role.
The Role
- Assemble, wire and test complex electrical/electronic assemblies
- Leading and mentoring Technicians to ensure consistent team performance
- Stepping up as the Acting Supervisor, in a role with further progression and training
The Person
- Experienced in electrical assembly, wiring, testing or a similar senior hands-on role; Ex-Forces / REME encouraged to APPLY
- Skilled in leading and mentoring colleagues and looking to leverage their leadership potential
- Wanting to progress to Team Leader or Supervisor and receive further training
