Exciting Opportunity for NEC Project Manager & Supervisor聽
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NEC Project Manager & Supervisor to join a long-term infrastructure delivery programme in the North of England. This role will support two public realm and civil engineering schemes, collectively valued at 拢30 million, over a 30-month duration.
One scheme will involve supervising an external contractor with a dedicated full-time on-site Supervisor role and a Project Manager who is employed full-time, with a strong but flexible site presence. The other will involve full-time on-site duties where the same professional will take on both NEC Project Manager and Supervisor responsibilities, with the scheme being delivered by an internal delivery team.
The main duties of the NEC Project Manager & Supervisor are:
路Fulfil NEC Project Manager and NEC Supervisor responsibilities in accordance with NEC3/NEC4 contracts
路Oversee project delivery ensuring compliance with time, cost, and quality objectives
路Provide a visible and consistent presence on site to monitor progress and contractor performance
路Issue instructions, assess compensation events, and manage early warnings
路Ensure robust documentation, reporting, and contract compliance at all stages
路Liaise with contractors, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated delivery
路Uphold health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across both schemes
The NEC Project Manager & Supervisor will have key experience in:
路Working in NEC Project Manager and/or Supervisor roles on public realm or civil engineering schemes
路Applying NEC3 or NEC4 forms of contract in either client or contractor environments
路Strong understanding of construction programme management, contract administration, and site supervision
路Ability to travel to and attend sites regularly, including full-time on-site presence where required
路Effective communication and coordination with multiple delivery stakeholders
路Experience working on local authority or public sector civil infrastructure projects
路Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
