Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join theircommercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of interior projects, from early budgeting through to final tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and clarify project requirements.

Prepare take-offs and detailed bills of quantities for flooring, joinery, partitions, finishes, M&E coordination, and related scopes.

Develop cost plans, budgets, and value engineering options to meet client expectations.

Produce and present competitive tender submissions within set deadlines.

Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings as necessary to assess conditions and project complexities.

Maintain a database of current supplier and subcontractor pricing and develop strong relationships within the supply chain.

Assist the commercial team in post-tender negotiations and handover to project delivery teams.

Monitor market trends, material costs, and industry standards to ensure estimates are up to date and competitive.
Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or interior fit-out sector.

Solid understanding of construction methods, interior fit-out processes, and flooring systems.

Proficient in estimation software (e.g., Conquest, Causeway, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is desirable.
