Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join theircommercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of interior projects, from early budgeting through to final tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and clarify project requirements.

• Prepare take-offs and detailed bills of quantities for flooring, joinery, partitions, finishes, M&E coordination, and related scopes.

• Develop cost plans, budgets, and value engineering options to meet client expectations.

• Produce and present competitive tender submissions within set deadlines.

• Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings as necessary to assess conditions and project complexities.

• Maintain a database of current supplier and subcontractor pricing and develop strong relationships within the supply chain.

• Assist the commercial team in post-tender negotiations and handover to project delivery teams.

• Monitor market trends, material costs, and industry standards to ensure estimates are up to date and competitive.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or interior fit-out sector.

• Solid understanding of construction methods, interior fit-out processes, and flooring systems.

• Proficient in estimation software (e.g., Conquest, Causeway, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is desirable.
