This is a brilliant opportunity for someone earlier in their finance career who's keen to take on more ownership and grow their experience in a varied, hands-on role.

You'll be working across both purchase (40%) and sales ledger (60%) as well as supporting key finance functions, so if you're looking for exposure, responsibility and a chance to make an impact, this could be the perfect next step.

What you'll be doing:

  • Helping with accounts payable: invoice entry, PO matching, approvals, supplier queries and reconciliations
  • Assisting with payment runs and online banking
  • Weekly bank reconciliations and cashbook updates
  • Uploading sales invoices to customer portals
  • Month-end tasks including journals, balance sheet recs and reporting
  • Pitching in with finance projects and general admin

What we're looking for:

  • Ideally studying AAT Level 3 or 4 (or similar experience)
  • Experience working in a finance team with exposure to AP or AR (or both!)
  • Strong Excel skills and happy working with less automated systems
  • Someone detail-focused and proactive - you'll spot issues and solve them before they become problems
  • A confident communicator who enjoys being part of a team
  • Most importantly, someone positive, hands-on and keen to grow

Why this role?

You'll be joining a close-knit finance team in a business that values its people. It's a great environment to learn, take ownership, and get involved in all aspects of transactional finance.

If you're looking to build your career in finance and can start quickly, we'd love to hear from you.
