As the Guidance Services Delivery and Business Support Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and governance, supporting a large team, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations....Role OverviewThe Guidance Services Delivery and Business Support Lead will report directly to Head of Guidance Services and Customer Protection Strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for: Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and update operational governance documentation and administrative processes across delivery areas to meet and exceed MaPS Standards and assurance requirements. •Work closely with the Head of Service and Lead Managers, participating in operational leadership meetings and chairing key internal forums. • Ensure strong service delivery connections with our customers and service providers. • Coordinate and maintain a forward planner for departmental initiatives. • Manage audit and assurance activities, ensuring all processes are logged, updated, and actioned in accordance with governance recommendations. • Support the administration and updates of the departmental change control log and ensure operational practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. • Act as the operational point of contact for compliance issues, including non-compliance incidents and business continuity plans. • Assist in managing the company’s Health & Safety measures and support root cause analysis for complaints and system failures.You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience. To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate: • Highly organised and methodical, experienced in maintaining operational delivery plans. • Ability to work independently, building strong collaborative relationships to drive success. • Experience within a complex organisation, capable of overseeing multiple initiatives. • Proficient in developing activity and business planning processes within a fast-paced customer delivery environment. • Skilled in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), identifying and addressing the causes of complaints and system issues for continuous process improvement.
