In this role as the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible to develop and maintain formal quality procedures for the Assembly and Test processes of the company product portfolio, take ownership of internal quality issues and implement quality improvement activities, liaise with all internal stakeholders, drive process improvement with suppliers, develop a concession process, manage internal quality KPIs, and perform or coordinate incoming and outgoing parts quality checks.

What we would like from the Quality Engineer:

  • HND or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in an Engineering or Quality Assurance environment
  • Ideally held a Production Quality or SQA role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience or knowledge of manufacturing processes (fabrication, castings, machining etc)
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
  • Experience conducting supplier audits
  • Ability to improve quality and efficiency of work processes and drive implementation

What we offer the Quality Engineer:

  • Salary between £38,000 to £40,000
  • 39-hour week (8 hours Mon-Thurs and 7 hours Fri)
