The AOI Technician, Bedford, Bedfordshire role is responsible for ensuring that all products are accurately and consistently inspected using the CyberOptics 3D AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems.

The Key Responsibilities for the AOI Technician, based in Bedford include;

  • Develop, program, and optimise 3D AOI inspection routines
  • Perform detailed First Article Inspections (FAI)
  • Maintain and update AOI programs

The successful candidate for the AOI Technician, Bedford, Bedfordshire will have a proven background in;

  • Previous experience operating AOI equipment (e.G., Koh Young, Mirtec, CyberOptics, Omron or similar
  • Familiarity with SMT and PCB assembly processes.
  • Ability to read assembly drawings
