Yourstaff Solutions are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 store delivery drivers for our client based in Bedford, either fulltime on-going.
Temp to Perm for full time drivers after 12 weeks if you may require
The Work
- Pre journey vehicle checks.
- Complete vehicle check sheets, reporting all damage or defects prior to leaving site.
- 2-4 store deliveries per day with the use of a pump truck, take of the bed of the vehicle only. Store to take into depot / store.
- Uplift and return cages and pallets from the previous delivery.
- Complete all paperwork/delivery notes and return to the transport admin clerk
Requirements
- You must have a minimum 6 months Class 1 experience
- No more than 9 penalty points, IN,DD,DR.TT codes are not accepted due to insurance clauses.
- UK Driving licence, UK Driver qualification card and valid UK CPC card
- A good understanding of driver rules, regulations and WTD.
- Be physically fit and able to pull pallets and cages from the vehicle to the store warehouse.
- You must be, professional, courteous, reliable and punctual.
- Your own PPE.
Full time shift patterns and start times
Friday to Tuesday
Friday- Monday (4 day a week)
Start Times
starting window between 02:00-05:00 or 10:00-17:00.
