- Develop, refine and execute contract management plans in line with government guidance and best practice
- Refine/execute a contractual change processes
- Conduct negotiations for changes related to the existing contract
- Review and amend contract documents, including service level exhibits, statements of work in line with agreed changes
- Maintain and refine exit plans as necessary to ensure orderly contract exits
- Identify and mitigate commercial risk
- Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Intervene, analyse, manage, and resolve business conflicts between MaPS and the vendors / suppliers and manage internal stakeholders
- MCIPS or equivalent such as IACCM/WCC OR equivalent relevant experience or accreditation
- Proven track record of working effectively
- Strong and demonstrable experience of commercial contract management at a senior level (experience in a similar role and be interested in, and able to add value to, the development of a public sector contract management capability)
- Experienced in commercial cost models and their practical implementation
