Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team.

You'll be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal components.
• Perform fabrication tasks including grinding, welding, and assembly of metal parts.
• Utilise hand tools and tooling effectively to ensure precision in production.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining quality control.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process and implement solutions promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabrication, particularly with sheet metal processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with welding techniques and grinding processes is advantageous.
• Proficient in using hand tools and tooling relevant to metalworking.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
