Tradewind Recruitment is working in close partnership with a range of welcoming and inclusive primary, middle, and secondary schools across Central Bedfordshire who are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join their teams from September 2025.
These full-time roles offer fantastic opportunities to work with pupils in mainstream or SEND settings, providing 1:1 support, small group interventions, or general classroom assistance. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we'd love to hear from you.
Experience working with children with a range of SEND including ASD, ADHD, MLD and complex difficulties would be highly beneficial. People with experience in different industries are welcome to apply.

The Role:

Supporting pupils in the classroom, either one-on-one or in small groups

Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering learning activities

Helping pupils with special educational needs (SEN), including autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs

Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a safe, inclusive learning environment

Supporting social and emotional development through patience and empathy
About You:

Experience working with children or young people (e.g., in schools, nurseries, youth work, or care settings)

Patient, flexible, and proactive in the classroom

Passionate about education and committed to supporting all learners

A TA qualification or relevant training is desirable but not essential
