Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer - 52k - Bedford

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a leader special purpose machinery manufacturer. They are lookng to take on an electrical design engineer to help with the design of complex control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design sophisticated control systems (variable speed drives, PLCs,.).

• Create schematic drawings and bills of materials.

• Develop test plans and ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards.

• Support projects to meet tight deadlines and budgets.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

• Strong understanding of electrical circuit diagrams and symbols.

• Familiarity with EN60204 and EN13849.

• Experience with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
