My client, established in 1969, is a world leader in producing high-quality machinery exported globally.
The Electrical Design Engineer will oversee all electrical design for both new and legacy projects and manage the transition to new design software.
Candidates should have a degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience, along with a solid understanding of electrical circuit diagrams.
Experience with electrical design software and designing special-purpose machinery is preferred, along with strong communication skills.
The salary for this position ranges from £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience.

As the Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for all electrical design for new and legacy projects. Additionally, the successful candidate will be in charge of how the electrical design is managed moving forward and converting all their legacy designs to the chosen electrical design software.

What we would like from the Electrical Design Engineer:

Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or experience in a related field
Thorough understanding of Engineering principles, including Electrical Circuit Diagrams and symbols
Experience using any Electrical design software
Experience designing special-purpose machinery (ideal)
Excellent communication skills, both in team settings and when engaging with customers
Basic understanding of electrical and pneumatic control systems as they relate to mechanical design

What we offer the Electrical Design Engineer:

Salary between £50,000 to £60,000 doe
