Our client is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in Bedfordshire. This role offers an opportunity to supervise a dedicated finance team, centralise training notes, process invoices, and be the first point of call in the escalation process. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring documents within the AP department, completing monthly CIS returns, dealing with supplier queries, and providing ledger support.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervision of the Accounts Payable Team
- Checking weekly payment runs and authorising them
- Centralising all training notes for better knowledge sharing
- Processing of invoices ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Statement reconciliation/checking to ensure financial integrity
- Being the first point of call in the escalation process for any issues or discrepancies
- Assisting with system migration for improved operational efficiency
- Monitoring all documents that fall within the AP department ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Completion of monthly CIS returns in a timely manner

- Proven experience in managing accounts payable processes
