An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Joinery/Furniture Sprayer to join our client’s workshop in Bedford. This is a fantastic chance for someone eager to build a hands-on career in joinery or furniture finishing. Full training will be provided, offering you the opportunity to learn specialist spraying and finishing techniques from an experienced team.
Summary of the Trainee Joinery/Furniture Sprayer role
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities of the Trainee Joinery/Furniture Sprayer
- Assist the spray department with day-to-day activities and preparation work.
- Learn and develop essential surface preparation and spraying techniques under supervision.
- Support the team in achieving high-quality finishes across a range of joinery and furniture products.
- Gain confidence to operate spray booths independently during team absences.
- Maintain a tidy and safe workspace, following all health and safety guidelines.
Requirements for a successful Trainee Joinery/Furniture Sprayer
- A genuine interest in joinery, furniture making, or spray finishing.
- Willingness to learn and develop new practical skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well under supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.
