Senior Planner - Bedford (Full-Time, Permanent)

The Role

As a Senior Planner, you'll work on a wide variety of projects across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. You'll take a leading role in preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and strategic planning advice, while mentoring junior team members and liaising directly with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit planning applications, policy representations, and appeals
  • Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues

About You

  • MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership (ideal)
  • Proven experience within a consultancy, local authority, or developer environment
  • Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policy

  • Self-motivated, organised, and confident working independently or as part of a team
