The Role
As a Senior Planner, you'll work on a wide variety of projects across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. You'll take a leading role in preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and strategic planning advice, while mentoring junior team members and liaising directly with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit planning applications, policy representations, and appeals
- Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues
- Contribute to business development and identify new opportunities
About You
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership (ideal)
- Proven experience within a consultancy, local authority, or developer environment
- Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and confident working independently or as part of a team
