Architectural Technologist

Location: Bedford

Salary: 30-40,000

An excellent opportunity has opened for an Architectural Technologist to join a respected, award-winning multidisciplinary practice based in Bedford. The firm is recognised for delivering inventive, design-led projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. As the practice continues to expand, they are seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual to support a broad range of high-quality developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in producing accurate technical drawings and coordinated project information
  • Prepare and submit planning applications and building regulation documentation
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and wider project team members
  • Undertake site visits and provide technical input during construction stages
  • Ensure all work complies with current UK Building Regulations and industry best practice

Skills & Experience

  • HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology (or related qualification)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience is highly desirable
  • Some exposure to residential or commercial projects (academic or professional)
  • Basic understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organisational capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
