Job type: Full-time, permanent Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients to recruit for an experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to join their ever-expanding team. To oversee and coordinate the movement, storage, distribution and sourcing of goods and materials within a supply chain, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities of the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager: 路 Developing and implement new or alternative supply chain and logistics strategies. 路 Creating and executing a comprehensive supply chain and logistics strategy to optimize operations and achieve business goals. 路 Continually try to improve and develop business performance within the constraints of legislation, fuel costs and rising environmental pressures 路 Managing and overseeing the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships. 路 Maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring the right products are available at the right time, and minimizing waste. 路 Supervising the movement of goods, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. 路 Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analysing data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency. 路 Recruiting, onboarding, training and management of supply chain and despatch team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team. 路 Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and other departments. 路 Ensuring all supply chain and logistics activities comply with relevant regulations, safety guidelines, and ethical standards. 路 Understand and implement health and safety procedures 路 Identify, plan and manage logistics projects that will improve efficiency, resilience and performance Requirements of the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager: 路 Strategic Thinking - Ability to develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies. 路 Analytical Skills - Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. 路 Problem-Solving - Ability to identify and resolve complex supply chain issues. 路 Communication Skills - Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. 路 Negotiation Skills - Ability to negotiate favourable terms with suppliers and other partners. 路 Leadership Skills - Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. 路 Technical Skills - Proficiency in relevant software and technologies for supply chain management.
