Contract Mechanical Design Engineer

6 -12 month contract (rolling)

Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Inventor or SolidWorks experience to undertake a varied long-term contract.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a solid background in Inventor or SolidWorks to work on a New Product Development project, undertaking detailed conceptual design and supporting the complete project life cycle.

As Contract Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the ability to :

• Undertake Mechanical Design of New Product Development (complete product Life-cycle)
• Undertake detailed designs using 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor)
• Concept Generation
• Produce Documentation to support Development

• Knowledge of manufacturing methods

 The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have;  

• Proven mechanical design experience within a fast-paced development environment (Ideally 4-5 years min)

• Experience working on instrumentation or complex bespoke equipment/machinery

• 3D CAD  - SolidWorks or Inventor

• Full Product Life-cycle Design Experience.
