Mechanical Design Engineer

Great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, living commutable to Bedford to work for a well established and very profitable British manufacturer of packaging machinery supplied to the food, chemical & pharmaceutical markets.
 
BASIC SALARY: Up to £55,000

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Bedford, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Peterborough, Luton
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Design Engineer - Special Purpose Machinery - Capital Equipment - PPMA
 
A classic Mechanical Design Engineer role, using SolidWorks & AutoCad to design new machines, retrofits, upgrades, issuing of machine BOM`s & creation of new machine manuals, working as part of a team of Design Engineers.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:   Mechanical Design Engineer - Special Purpose Machinery - Capital Equipment - PPMA
 
·You MUST be an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.
·Ideally, you will have specific experience of working upon special purpose machinery.
·You will be qualified to HNC + in mechanical engineering.
·You will have used SolidWorks & ideally AutoCad software.
