Service Engineer | £40,000 - £50,000 | Bedford

Our client is excited to offer a brand-new opportunity for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to become a key member of our expanding Service team. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys a varied and dynamic working environment, with responsibilities ranging from installation and commissioning to training, maintenance, and ongoing service support. This position is ideal for a mechanically adept individual who enjoys international travel, thrives in customer-facing situations, and is confident working independently while abroad.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

+Deliver high-quality service work, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and customer training, ensuring all tasks are completed to an exceptional standard.+Perform routine maintenance and respond to unplanned service requirements, including out-of-hours breakdown support when necessary.+Collaborate with internal departments to plan and coordinate service activities and customer training in an efficient and effective manner.+Support during customer pre-delivery Factory Acceptance Tests.+Act as a professional and courteous representative of the company at all times, building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with customers.

Key Skills and Experience:

+Strong mechanical engineering skills and experience+A genuine enthusiasm for travel, with the flexibility and willingness to work both nationally and internationally. Global travel is a key part of this role (approximately 60% of the time).
