Our client, a forward-thinking leader in the avionics sector, is currently seeking a UAS Avionics Engineer to join their innovative team on a fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge drone technology and avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and testing avionics systems for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
- Piloting and operating drones for various testing and operational purposes
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards
- Performing diagnostics and troubleshooting on avionics components
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate avionics systems
- Preparing technical documentation and reports on testing and operational findings
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of avionics technologies and industry advancements
- Providing technical support and training to team members and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Experience in drone piloting and UAS operations
- Comprehensive understanding of avionics systems and their applications
- Strong foundation in the principles of aviation and avionics engineering
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and simulation software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Relevant degree in avionics, aerospace engineering, or a related field
