Our client, a forward-thinking leader in the avionics sector, is currently seeking a UAS Avionics Engineer to join their innovative team on a fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge drone technology and avionics systems.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and testing avionics systems for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
  • Piloting and operating drones for various testing and operational purposes
  • Implementing and ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards
  • Performing diagnostics and troubleshooting on avionics components
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate avionics systems
  • Preparing technical documentation and reports on testing and operational findings
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of avionics technologies and industry advancements
  • Providing technical support and training to team members and stakeholders


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in drone piloting and UAS operations
  • Comprehensive understanding of avionics systems and their applications
  • Strong foundation in the principles of aviation and avionics engineering
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and simulation software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Relevant degree in avionics, aerospace engineering, or a related field
