Our client, a bury franchised dealership in Bedford has the requirement for an experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their established team.
MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities
As an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic your responsibilities will include:
Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards
Liaise with Service Manager department regarding test result
Carry out re-tests as appropriate
Carry out quality inspections
Keep up-to-date DVSA process and procedure
Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner
Carry out New Cars PDI's, Used Car Multi Point Checks, and associated rectification.
Carry out minor MOT failures repairs.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
Active MOT Testing licence
2 years MOT Testing Experience
Excellent attention to detail
Own Tools
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Requirements:
Franchised Dealer Experience
Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent
Manufacturer Accreditations
Remuneration & Benefits
Basic Salary up to £33,000 DOE
On Target Earnings up to £36,500 (Monthly Team Bonus Scheme)
