Arden White Aviation & Aerospace Recruitment is supporting a well-established SME in the aerospace sector to find a part-time Payroll Administrator to join their team in Bedford. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, while maintaining compliance with statutory regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation.

  • Process timesheets and payroll data, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.

  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, pension schemes, and other statutory obligations.

  • Work with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee queries.

  • Maintain secure and confidential payroll records.

  • Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes.

  • Salary: £25,000 £30,000 per annum (adjusted pro-rata to working hours)

  • Part-time hours: 24 hours per week (3 days per week), with flexibility around payroll cycles.

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax, NI, and pension schemes.

  • Experience with payroll software (e.g., Sage, ADP, Workday) is helpful but not essential.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
