A fantastic SEN school in Bedford is looking for a compassionate and driven graduate to join their team as a School Mental Health Teaching Assistant. You'll work closely with their clinical staff, supporting students with a range of needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and Speech, Language & Communication Needs.

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored, 1:1 and small group support to students with complex mental health and behavioural needs
- Work collaboratively with the school's clinical and SEN teams
- Gain meaningful, practical experience in a supportive educational setting
- Support students in developing emotional regulation, communication, and coping skills
Who We're Looking For:
- A graduate in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field (experience with SEN is a plus)
- A genuine passion for mental health and working with vulnerable young people
- Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
- Someone local to or able to commute to Bedford
