We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a global leader in Bedford, specializing in industrial applications for over 50 years.
The ideal candidate must have over 5 years of Project Management experience and a bachelor's degree, preferably with engineering industry experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required, along with strong leadership skills and problem-solving capabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and customer expectations while facilitating internal and customer meetings.

We are working with a global leader who have been established for 50 years and specialise in design, manufacture and supply for industrial applications. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join this exceptional business inBedford.

Project ManagerKey Requirements:

Must have over 5 years working experience as a Project Manager
Bachelors degree with Engineering industry experience
Proven Project Management leadership is required
Excel, Word, Project, Power Point, Outlook proficiency is required
Prince 2 desirable but not essential
Design and/or Technical Lead experience is preferred
Must have the ability to focus on the critical path
High energy to lead through adversity and challenges, and win
Experience of facilitation of a wide-range of structured, event-based activities, often from the Altra Business System (ABS) toolset
Problem solving and corrective action execution capabilities

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for keeping projects running smoothly, meeting customer expectations, in budget, and achieving completion within the project timeline.

Determine when projects are required to meet customer expectations, support the manufacturing process and meet target delivery dates.

Responsible for both internal and customer project kick off meetings.

Create project plans using Microsoft Project to track and report sales order progress to customers and internal teams including sales.
