About the Role - SEMH Teaching Assistant
- Work within small, ability-based classes (typically 6-8 students)
- Support students aged 4-19 with a range of SEMH and autism-related needs
- Collaborate closely with therapists, SEN specialists, and mental health professionals
- Deliver targeted interventions to help pupils overcome academic and emotional barriers
- Provide consistent, nurturing support as a trusted role model
What We're Looking For
- A graduate in Psychology or Criminology (or similar field)
- Genuine passion for working with young people and supporting mental health
- Interest in a long-term career in educational psychology, mental health, or SEN support
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Ability to commute daily to Kempston
