Compass Corporate Services are proud to be exclusively partnered with a national leader in care and education services to recruit a field-based Estates Supervisor for the Midlands East region.

In this vital role, you’ll lead a team of Mobile Maintenance Operatives across a diverse and meaningful property portfolio supporting vulnerable children and adults. You’ll provide technical support, project oversight, and ensure the quality, compliance, and safety of homes and services across your region.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong maintenance or construction background who’s ready to step into a leadership role with real purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of Mobile Maintenance Operatives across the Midlands East region
  • Monitor the quality and compliance of works, providing technical leadership
  • Deliver small to medium-sized estates projects, from scope to completion
  • Oversee contractors, manage site visits, and ensure statutory compliance (fire safety, legionella, asbestos)
  • Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute to property improvement planning and emergency responses

Candidate Requirements

  • Recognised trade background - either via qualification or minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience
  • Demonstrable experience managing maintenance teams and estate-related projects
  • Solid understanding of statutory compliance regulations and building safety standards
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a business-use vehicle
  • Able to travel extensively across the region and work autonomously
  • Experience in care or education settings is desirable
