About the Role:
A well-regarded secondary school in Bedford is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their strong department from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach General Science at KS3 and a science specialism at KS4, with the opportunity to deliver GCSE preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3/KS4
  • Adapt teaching to support pupils of varying abilities, including SEN and EAL
  • Track and monitor pupil progress, setting interventions where necessary
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and extra-curricular STEM activities

Requirements:

  • QTS and specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
