Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Salary: £20,000 - £23,000

Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs? Are you looking to deepen your impact and take the next step in your career in Kempston - either within education or towards a clinical support role?

Your Role as an SEN HLTA:

  • Deliver targeted academic and behavioural interventions, 1:1 and in small groups
  • Lead and support learning activities in collaboration with teaching staff and therapists
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education and behaviour plans
  • Foster emotional regulation, independence, and positive engagement in learning

What We're Looking For:

  • HLTA Status (Level 4 or equivalent qualification)
  • Proven experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ideally in specialist settings
  • A calm, reflective, and proactive approach to behaviour and communication support
  • A genuine interest in professional development and SEN best practice
