We are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - though this role would equally suit an unqualified teacher with relevant experience. Please note, the HLTA qualification is not essential; what matters most is a commitment to supporting young people who do not thrive within traditional education models.

About the Role:
The Bedford site supports up to 25 students of all genders, providing education by stage, not age, ensuring gaps in learning and attainment are addressed before progression. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a nurturing, therapeutic, and forward-thinking environment where every child's individuality is recognised and supported.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the teaching and learning of students with SEMH and additional needs

Deliver targeted interventions and small group sessions

Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team

Contribute to a flexible, child-centred, and creative curriculum offer
Requirements:

HLTA qualification is desirable but not essential

Experience supporting young people in an educational, care, or mentoring capacity

A resilient, patient, and empathetic approach to working with students with complex needs
