Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for a dedicated and empathetic Tenancy Sustainment Officer to join our team and support customers with complex needs to maintain stable housing and improve their well-being.

About the Role

As a Tenancy Sustainment Officer, you’ll manage a caseload of customers facing high-risk factors affecting their tenancy. You’ll provide intensive, one-to-one support, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver personalised housing management and holistic support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop person-centred support plans.

  • Deliver intensive housing management and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Managing a caseload of at-risk customers with a structured, outcomes-focused approach

  • Monitor progress and adjust support strategies to meet evolving needs.

  • Manage safeguarding and anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases in line with policy.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cohesive service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Clear, empathetic communicator with strong organisational and decision-making skills.

  • Experience supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs, in any transferable sector (including but not limited social & residential care, homelessness, health and emergency services)

  • Strong coaching skills to empower customers, encourage engagement and achieve positive outcomes

  • A solution-focused, creative thinker who doesn’t give up at the first hurdle

  • Knowledge of housing, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practices (desirable)

Requirements

  • Full access to a car during working hours.

  • Willingness to travel across all bpha sites.
