Job Title: Scheduler Domiciliary Care
Location: Bedford (Office-Based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm
Salary: £28,000 per annum
On-Call: 1 in 5 rota (additional pay)

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and highly organisedSchedulerto join our busy domiciliary care office in Bedford. In this key role, youll be responsible for planning and coordinating daily care visits, ensuring that our service users receive consistent, high-quality care at the right time from the right carers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and coordinate care visits for clients across the region using our rostering system

  • Manage changes to care plans and respond to last-minute scheduling issues

  • Liaise with carers, clients, and family members to ensure smooth delivery of services

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of schedules and care plans

  • Support the Registered Manager and wider team in ensuring compliance with CQC standards

  • Participate in theon-call rota (1 in 5 weeks)with additional pay for availability

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in scheduling, rostering, or coordinating staff ideally in a care or healthcare setting

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Able to work calmly under pressure and solve problems effectively

  • Confident using scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications

  • A team player with a professional and flexible attitude

  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred (for planning visits)
