Job Title: Social Worker - Achieving Permanence Team

Rate of Pay: £38 per hour
The RoleAs a social worker in the Achieving Permanence Team, you will manage a varied caseload of children who are subject to care proceedings or are on a permanence pathway. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Managing a caseload of children where the local authority has initiated legal proceedings under the Public Law Outline (PLO).

Preparing and presenting high-quality, analytical court reports, including Annex B and Special Guardianship Order (SGO) assessments.

Working closely with legal teams, barristers, and Cafcass to progress cases through the court system efficiently and effectively.

Developing and implementing permanence plans, ensuring a child's needs for stability are met without delay.

Giving evidence in court and attending legal planning meetings.

Liaising with families, foster carers, and other professionals to gather the necessary evidence for court reports and assessments.

Working to strict legal and statutory timescales, ensuring all deadlines are met and court directions are followed.
