Tradewind are working closely with a mainstream primary school in Bedford that is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team this September.

This inclusive school prides itself on its supportive and nurturing environment, where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. The successful TA will work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.

Our partner school in Bedford, benefits from fantastic facilities and resources. You will have the full support of the SLT during your placement and this role may lead to a permanent role within the school.

As an SEN TA, your role will be to:

  • Support individual learning plans tailored to each pupil

  • Help with communication and interaction

  • Use creativity and flexibility to adapt resources and approaches

  • Ensure pupils feel safe, supported and confident

  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and families to provide the best support
