Right now, several schools are looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to support children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) from September 2025.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting pupils with complex medical and learning needs in a specialist school setting

  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver highly personalised care and learning

  • Assisting with personal care, feeding, and use of specialist equipment

  • Building trust and communication with non-verbal or minimally verbal learners

  • Making a difference through consistency, empathy, and professional care

Who You Are
  • Someone with experience in care work, SEND education, or support work with individuals with disabilities

  • Familiar with the needs of pupils with PMLD, sensory impairments, and physical challenges

  • Comfortable with personal care responsibilities and working in a team

  • Patient, calm, emotionally resilient, and reliable

  • Ready to bring care and purpose into every day
